STEEL'S office, fabrication shop, equipment maintenance
shop and storage yard are located on 8 acres of land situated along a well traveled double
lane highway in Dorchester County. We have occupied this location for over 25 years.
Our fully equipped fabrication shop is housed in a 25,000 sq. ft. open bay building. It
is the largest in the Charleston area and is complete with (2) overhead cranes, (3)
hydraulic punches, a 10' plate shear, 50 Ton iron worker, 95 Ton Pressbrake, Marvel band
saw, (12) welding machines, mig welders, and plasma-arc welders, handrail specific and
pipe bending equipment. Our paint and sandblasting shop has the capability to prime all
types of surfaces.
Our projects have varied from Industrial to Commercial to Residential contracts in all
price ranges. Throughout the Low Country there are numerous completed projects with which
